Analysis of patenting activity by companies shows that L'Oreal filed the most ecommerce patents within the consumer industry in Q3 2023. The company filed 14 ecommerce-related patents in the quarter, compared with 11 in the previous quarter. It was followed by Rakuten Group with 11 ecommerce patent filings, Procter & Gamble (9 filings), and LG (9 filings) in Q3 2023.
