The top five companies accounted for 5% of patenting activity
Analysis of patenting activity by companies shows that Nestle filed the most health & wellness patents within the consumer industry in Q4 2023. The company filed 72 health & wellness-related patents in the quarter, compared with 120 in the previous quarter. It was followed by DSM-Firmenich with 39 health & wellness patent filings, Kangnam University (29 filings), and Zhejiang University (26 filings) in Q4 2023.
