Precis methods for Salmonella and Listeria testing

Mastitis qPCR assays
We offer a range of assays designed for accurate same-day identification of mastitis-causing microorganisms from bovine milk using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Thermo Scientific PathoProof™ kits include all the necessary reagents for bacterial DNA extraction and qPCR. The tests have been optimised for use with even the most challenging bulk-tank and quarter milk samples.
PathoProof mastitis PCR assays are revolutionary tests for identifying all main mastitis-causing bacteria from bovine milk samples, without any bacterial culturing steps. Results are available within four hours, versus conventional culturing methods which can take from 48 hours to up to seven days for Mycoplasma bovis.
